We’ve had a complaint to the local council about noise from the pub. Not specifically about Woofstock – our recent two day blowout music and beer festival in aid of retired greyhounds, but it didn’t help !
Yarwell has less than 150 houses and many larger villages can’t sustain a village pub, so we have to do our best to do things well and do what people want. The bands bring in regular users from surrounding villages and are an important part of keeping the pub afloat.
We are of course operating entirely within our license and could in fact put a band on every night of the week !
Tonights band is Animals Hellwing from Stamford. Next week is Di’s birthday and will feature The Glambassadors a 70s glam rock tribute band. Fancy dress welcome and encouraged. See our Facebook page for upcoming events.
